happy fall everyone! fall is my favorite season...pumpkin EVERYTHING..but most importantly my colossal boot collection comes out! i love my boots almost as much as i love coconut, hummus, coffee and peanut butter......almost!

i just got back from being on the road. i hit 5 states in 5 days.

the road trip started thursday. off to Brimfield Antique Market I went. i shopped around for keys and other trinkets for trust. 

i left brimfield and drove straight to burlington, VT with my mama and a car packed full of trust jewels and displays. this was a business trip + girls weekend combination. we stayed in a beautiful b&b that had the best homemade granola i have ever had. 

Willard Street Inn

trustin' @ArtHop all day Saturday. The SouthEnd ArtHop celebrates the artistic and creative community in Burlington. Art studios, galleries, live music, local vendors and businesses "do their thing." It was amazing to me how many people came out to support and appreciate it all.

it was a very successful weekend for trust. i met some new fans and spread some trust love to the mountains! i visited my favorite store stella-mae and treated myself to a cozy new sweater. i also spoke with the buying manager about trust wholesale....to be continued....

let the travels continue! after Burlington, I was en route to NYC for fashion week with my Desiree Spinner team reppin' La Petite Peach. I spent Sunday afternoon on a rooftop all inclusive nyfw RewardStyle party at the empire hotel...casually sponsored by Theory,  ModCloth, MarkandGram, Joie and Gorgjana Griffon. From grunge to glam, I can kick it for a couple days in heels in NYC. It was also special to be in an  Empire State of Mind around such a significant time of the year with September 11th being right around the corner.

I am now back to my reality which I am happy about. As much as I enjoy to travel, I love my own shower and not living out of bags.

A little repost! Martha's Vineyard, Slip77. These girls are awesome! If you are on the island...get to Slip!

Slip77 is a men's and women's clothing boutique in Oak Bluffs, MA owned and managed by Jessica Lyon and Christina Izzo. Now open for a second season, the store is hoping to add a new shopping dimension to Oak Bluffs in offering unique brands, exclusive styles and on-trend pieces. The duo also aim to showcase local designers as much as possible, with over 10 featured artists at present and always looking to add more. This year the store has expanded the Slip77 brand product offering to include boardshorts, more hoodies, exclusive duffel bags and several new tank top and tshirt designs. The store also runs a season long promotion aptly dubbed "SPOTTED" encouraging fans to post pictures of themselves being spotted in their 9 dots (the store's logo found on most of their merchandise). Pictures come in from friends all over the world representing their 9 dots!

An online store is in the works, with plans to have one up this fall. In the meantime, you can find Slip77 on facebook, pinterest, instagram and twitter, where they are always posting pictures of new stock and sneak peeks!

I just got home from a mini-vaca to my favorite place, the Vineyard. Devin was in town from LA and we spent 3 days in Aqunniah wining and dining and catching up with old friends. The black dog crew came up to reunite and I couldn't have been happier to see everyone. So many special people in one place. There is never enough time...I miss the island already.

In the words of my good friend Ross Cottrell, also an island wash-a-shore
who now owns his own contracting business off island, "If you're not growing you're dying."

Spring is in the air! I have been dedicating a lot of time and thoughts to trust. Between lining up summer events, restocking shops, researching and creating...I am knees deep.

There is a lot of exciting new things happening for trust! The South Shore Living Magazine article came out...I am on the trends page of the April Issue...

I just recently stocked up Crush Boutique on Newbury St, Boston and will be planning a summer trunk show soon.

Trust will be in two weddings in the fall...how exciting!

A Martha's Vineyard and Portland, ME business trip (and play!) are in the works...

Also...Trust is going to California! I have been dreaming about being out West more recently than usual...

LOFT 1513 in San Francisco will now be carrying trust! I will be sending a package this week to San Francisco and LA and I might just climb inside the package myself and be on my way to the warm California sun...

Do What You Love

The winter blues has officially set in for me and everyone around me...snowstorms on snowstorms on snowstorms. Looking forward to the summer...warm weather and flip flops, beach days and bikinis. Trust is everywhere. It's a good thing I have my friends to help me...sometimes I wonder what I would do without them.Shout out to all my trust babes. I was recently contacted by Jacqui from South Shore Living Magazine. Jacqui came across trust's website and asked if I would like to be featured in the April issue on the trends page. So exciting! I did a photo shoot with @BriannaDitocco and her fancy camera. It was a relaxing evening of drinking tea and laughing...always a good end to the day. A close vineyard friend, @Guinevere Cramer, blogs for Point b Realty, contacted me close to Valentine's Day. She is a beautiful woman and mother who is truly inspiring. Gwennie posted about Trust Love, a line of heart keys, love inspired the week of Valentine's Day. Check it out... Nemo put everyone out of commission for an entire weekend. I couldn't have asked for more...well maybe some electricity and water. I was cozy with a blanket, tea and a fire. It was actually just what I needed...I was able to make my annual homemade valentine's that I was afraid I would not have got to this year. I also hammered out some new designs and was diligently working on "jewelz" all weekend. Crush Boutique on Newbury St. in Boston is now stocked up as well as Common Era out West. Spring shows are lining up...slowly, but surely. trust recently was accepted to participate in Brewster in Bloom which I am really excited about! A rough design aka my sketch of trust's new logo is up...@AbbyMaker only the best graphic designer on the east coast will be perfecting it!! We have also been brainstorming new packaging as we all know I am a sucker for packaging. Another shout out to @MichelleMosesso, a best friend but also a...INTERN!! Too funny. Michelle is finishing up her senior year at the Art Institute in Boston and focusing her final project on Trust. I couldn't be happier to have her help me. We have professional meetings that go on for hours as we get side tracked and laugh which I love. Michelle is so talented and has some awesome ideas...it's been really cool to explore how friends look at trust. We have a look book in the works and also a photo shoot coming up! All in all...I have some friends that i'd say are keepers. They're awesome and I appreciate them so much. Winter has been slow but as expected. I have been slacking on the blog, per usual... my girls representing trust!
