Ciao America…Trust goes to Italia!
It has been two years since my
last trip abroad and I am so excited to flee the country! Although I was in my
glory with all the coconuts in Thailand (for everyone who knows my coconut
obsession) I am ready for Italy to bring on the gelato. Ice cream is another
obsession of mine…Coconut Gelato is just pure bliss in my mouth.
I’m going to Italy next week with one of my
best friends from childhood who lived in Rome for 6 months…talk about a local
tour guide…it don’t get much better. Local cafes sippin’ on cappuccinos, a city
tour with Scooterama, a family stay, Siena Vino tasting (and cheese duh),
Milan shopping, Capri ferry rides and a Roman Wedding…just a few of our Euro
todo’s. Yes, a wedding. We’re going as dates and we don’t yet know how to say
“we’re not lesbians” in Italian. Not that we care but I mean a wedding full of
tall dark handsome Italian men who live in a land of gelato, pizza and wine…we
wouldn’t mind claiming our husbands.
