Hello from the West Coast!

Back from Italy > Back from the East Coast >Back to CA

This gypsea (I am now a gyp-sea by the way) has been on over 20 trains, buses and flights combined in the last month. I can’t complain, I am SO lucky to have traveled to Italy with my best friend but I AM glad to be back. 

Normal Work Schedule…is your schedule ever normal though being a small biz owner? Never. 

Normal Sleep Pattern…I only hit up 3 different time zones in 2 weeks. 

Normal Eating & Workout Habits…goodbye SO MUCH BREAD, CHEESE AND WINE.

Italy. I can’t even describe. I just sat here for 3 minutes typing/backspacing/staring at the screen trying to start a sentence. I was going to say Italy was amazing but its not a good enough word to describe it and I don’t even know if I like that word so…here’s some footage from a trip I can’t even describe. I have to say I don’t even have the best pictures because I was trying to be present in the moment. I am known to slack taking pictures on trips because 1.) I never feel like they do what you’re actually looking at justice. 2.) I would rather be staring at it with my own eyes then through the camera lens (photographers would probably hate me for that sentence) 3.) The memories are what I always remember. I think its more important to write in a journal to remember the places you went, the people you met and the experiences you had. Oh and one more thing…every time my pictures come out lame I put my camera away because I feel like its not meant to be…and that was happening a lot. Also Kaitlin has a KICK A camera so I am planning to steal hers : )

Trust Travels

Ciao America…Trust goes to Italia!

It has been two years since my last trip abroad and I am so excited to flee the country! Although I was in my glory with all the coconuts in Thailand (for everyone who knows my coconut obsession) I am ready for Italy to bring on the gelato. Ice cream is another obsession of mine…Coconut Gelato is just pure bliss in my mouth.

I’m going to Italy next week  with one of my best friends from childhood who lived in Rome for 6 months…talk about a local tour guide…it don’t get much better. Local cafes sippin’ on cappuccinos, a city tour with Scooterama, a family stay, Siena Vino tasting (and cheese duh), Milan shopping, Capri ferry rides and a Roman Wedding…just a few of our Euro todo’s. Yes, a wedding. We’re going as dates and we don’t yet know how to say “we’re not lesbians” in Italian. Not that we care but I mean a wedding full of tall dark handsome Italian men who live in a land of gelato, pizza and wine…we wouldn’t mind claiming our husbands.

My life in California…because I have been living on a west coast dream & slacking on my blog. Right now, I am sitting here taking some time to catch up on Cup of T while drinking a cup of tea. I have realized how important it is to take time, slow down, disconnect and just BE.

Biz & Personal

Grinding away on Trust out here. 

I was honored, (and still am) to be asked to style a photo shoot with trust jewels for one of my favorite companies this past week, CottonCandyLA. I wanted to buy every piece of clothing we styled…and we styled over 40 outfits…so I mean, maybe someday. It was SO amazing seeing trust jewels in Cotton Candy’s shoot, working with some of the sweetest models and getting wrapped up in downtown LA’s fashion world. I do have to say I couldn’t WAIT to get back to the beach…I know I always say it but I’m just no city girl. I like my feet bare and my skin salty…and sometimes my hair turns into mermaid dread locks and I just don’t care. Anyways, I will be back styling with Cotton Candy next week for their Summer look book!

 Shop Lux Clothing, one of Trust’s newest CA retailors invited me on THEIR photo shoot a day later! I felt overwhelmed with excitement because I love their vision, branding and style. Not to mention the super rad babes who own the shop. I brought a trunk full of trust jewels and we did the dahm thing.

My PERSONAL life isn't on Facebook but I still have one.

My life here is a mix of play & hustle. I like to combine the two. Sometimes I feel like I am juggling a million things and decisions at once, but thats life! I usual work on orders at the beach on saturdaze (see above!) drink my favorite coconut milk chai tea and soak up that vitamin D like a real mermaid. I hustle during the week. I chase sunsets on the regular. I buy most of my food from the farmers market multiple x a week. I run the Santa Monica stairs and die a little bit in between each set. I hang with friends and LOVE LIFE. Yes, I get homesick and have had plenty of melt downs to my mama. Almost 26 and she is and will always be my go to. I miss her everyday but talk to her multiple times a day...about everything. To getting yelled at for being a "massole" driver  (by a police officer BTW) to locking my keys in my car at the farmers market.

I will be spending some time trustin' from the East Coast soon & my countdown to Italy is on. 

Have you guys been up to date on Trust Babe Tuesdays? It’s the new trust thing on IG and I hope you all are enjoying it! I LOVE passing on the meaning of my jewels to. You "Trustee's" make my vision come alive and it means so much to see it.

I have 2 MAJOR collabs in the works that I can’t tell you a thing about. It has been so hard to keep a secret, it’s actually killing me. Maybe my best friends and my mom know but that’s it. I will share ASAP. Probably could have just deleted this paragraph but it’s the closest I get to spilling the beans so STAY TUNED!
